Astarta exports over 870,000 tonnes of agricultural products in 2025
The agro-industrial holding Astarta, the largest sugar producer in Ukraine, supplied more than 870,000 tonnes of agricultural products to foreign markets in 2025, the company reported on its website.
According to the statement, exports of soy products (oil and meal) increased by 15% compared with 2024. The main markets in this segment were Hungary, Poland, Romania, and Austria. In addition, the company exported sugar to 25 countries worldwide, primarily to the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa) and Europe.
The geography of wheat and corn shipments in 2025 covered EU countries (Italy, the Netherlands, Spain), the United Kingdom, as well as Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Vietnam.
"Global trade uncertainty requires new approaches. We continue to export and are adapting our operations through engagement within our partner ecosystem," said Astarta's Director of Commercial Activities and Strategic Marketing, Viacheslav Chuk.
Astarta is a vertically integrated agro-industrial holding operating in eight regions of Ukraine. It comprises six sugar plants, farming enterprises with a land bank of 220,000 hectares and dairy farms with 22,000 head of cattle, an oil extraction plant in Hlobyne (Poltava region), seven grain elevators, and a biogas complex.
