Yermak: In response to supply of ballistic missiles to Russia, Ukraine should be allowed to destroy warehouses with these missiles
The response to a supply of ballistic missiles to Russian should be "permission for Ukraine to destroy warehouses with these missiles with Western weapons," said Andriy Yermak, head of the President's Office of Ukraine.
"A country that helps terrorist organizations and terrorist states with weapons should be punished. In response to a supply of ballistic missiles to Russian, Ukraine should be allowed to destroy warehouses with these missiles with Western weapons in order to curb terrorism," he wrote on Telegram on Sunday.
Yermak emphasized that "democracies must respond to the terror of autocracies. Strikes against terrorist Russia are defense. And defense is not escalation."
It was previously reported that the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry on September 7 expressed deep concern about "reports of a possible upcoming transfer of Iranian ballistic missiles to Russia." The statement emphasizes that "deepening military cooperation between Tehran and Moscow poses a threat to Ukraine, Europe and the Middle East." The ministry called on the international community to increase pressure on Iran and Russia.
Earlier, the media reported that Iran was allegedly supplying Russia with hundreds of short-range ballistic missiles for use in the war against Ukraine.
