Transformer equipment manufacturers can receive draft waivers for all employees – PM Svyrydenko

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a decision for energy equipment manufacturers to ensure that enterprises can operate uninterruptedly and retain specialized engineers during an emergency in the energy sector, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko has said.

"Enterprises that manufacture and restore transformers for the energy sector will be able to reserve all military-duty employees. The government has also reduced the number of criteria for recognizing a company as critical - two instead of three," Svyrydenko said on Telegram.

She added that this will allow manufacturers of equipment that is critical for the rapid restoration of energy facilities to operate uninterruptedly.
