Russian attack on Thurs night thwarted by missiles Ukraine received on Sunday - Zelenskyy
Ukraine received air defense missiles from its partners last Sunday, and they were already used to repel a Russian attack on the night of Thursday, February 12, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced.
"Our air defense used the missiles that our partners had delivered to us just a few days earlier. They arrived on Sunday. And by Thursday night, these missiles were already defending our skies. And that was just one night, but Russian attacks occur almost every night in Ukraine, and at least once a week, massive strikes are carried out," Zelenskyy said speaking at the Munich Security Conference on Saturday.
The President also noted that in January, the Russians launched 6,000 attack drones, more than 150 Russian missiles of various types, and more than 5,000 guided missiles against Ukraine.
