General Staff reports strike on S‑300VM launcher, UAV control points
On February 17 and 18, the Defence Forces struck a launcher of an S‑300VM surface‑to‑air missile system (in the temporarily occupied Mariupol area), several UAV control points (Russia's Kursk region and the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region), as well as communications nodes and concentrations of enemy personnel and military equipment (in the temporarily occupied areas of Zaporizhia and Donetsk regions), the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has said.
"Thus, during the night of February 18, 2026, the following were hit: in the area of the settlement of Trudove (temporarily occupied Zaporizhia region) – a concentration area of an enemy UAV unit; in the area of Tokmak (temporarily occupied Zaporizhia region) – a UAV workshop; in the area of Staromlynivka (temporarily occupied Donetsk region) – a communications node; in the city of Donetsk (temporarily occupied Donetsk region) – a concentration of the occupiers' military equipment," the General Staff said in its Telegram update on Wednesday.
In addition, on February 17, an S‑300VM surface‑to‑air missile system launcher was struck in Mariupol area (temporarily occupied Donetsk region). UAV control points of the enemy were also hit near the settlement of Salne (Kursk region, Russia) and near the city of Rodynske (temporarily occupied Donetsk region).
It is reported that enemy losses and the final scale of damage are being clarified.
