Air defense neutralize 107 of 128 drones overnight, with hits made at 14 locations

On Friday night, Ukrainian air defense forces neutralized 107 enemy drones, recording one missile hit and 21 attack UAVs at 14 locations, as well as the fall of downed UAVs (debris) at one location, the press service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

"According to preliminary data, as of 8:30 a.m., air defense forces have shot down or suppressed 107 enemy Shaheds, Gerberas, Italmas, and other types of UAVs in the north, south, and east of the country… The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces," the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported on their Telegram channel.

It is noted that on the night of February 20 (from 18:00 on February 19), the enemy attacked Ukraine with one Iskander-M ballistic missile, as well as 128 attack UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas type and drones of other types, of which about 80 were Shaheds.

Thus, the overall effectiveness of the air defense system was 83%.
