Japan's Education Minister arrives in Ukraine, visits Nemishaevo College
Minister of Education, Culture, Sports and Science of Japan Moriyama Masahito arrived in Ukraine on a visit.
As reported on the Facebook page of the Japanese Embassy in Ukraine, during his visit, the head of the Japanese educational department plans to hold a series of meetings with colleagues to discuss joint projects and opportunities for further cooperation in the cultural and educational spheres.
The diplomatic institution reported that Moriyama had already visited the Nemishaevo Professional College in the village of Nemishaevo, Bucha district, Kyiv region, on Monday.
"He observed the training and practice of students using agricultural construction machinery, PCs and other equipment provided by JICA. Seeing how the students' eyes shine during the practice even in such difficult conditions, the minister and his delegation were convinced that the professional growth of these young people will become a driving force for the restoration of Ukraine," the statement said.
The embassy emphasized that Japan will continue to actively support Japanese students.
