Ukrnafta plans to install three gas piston cogeneration plants
PJSC Ukrnafta intends to purchase three gas piston cogeneration plants with a total capacity of 72 MW, including installation and commissioning services.
"Relevant tenders have been published in the Prozorro public procurement system," the company said in a press release on Thursday.
According to tender information on Prozorro, the first unit with a total capacity of 27-30 MW should have three gas piston engines with an electrical efficiency of at least 46%. The second unit, also 27-30 MW, requires three gas piston engines with at least 46% electrical efficiency. The third unit, 18-20 MW, should have two gas piston engines with the same efficiency.
All three units must be new and equipped with remote control and safety systems.
Installation, supervision, commissioning, testing, and commissioning will be performed by the tender winner, who will also train personnel.
Each unit comes with a warranty of at least 24 months from the date of delivery.
"The installation of three modern power plants will support the company's technological needs and strengthen Ukraine's energy system," said Ukrnafta.
Ukrnafta is Ukraine's largest oil company and operates the national network of filling stations. In March 2024, the company took over the management of Glusco's assets and operates 545 filling stations – 460 owned and 85 managed.
The company is implementing a comprehensive program to resume activities and update the format of its filling station network.
The largest shareholder of Ukrnafta is NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy, holding a 50% + 1 share. In November 2022, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine decided to transfer the company's corporate rights to the state, now managed by the Ministry of Defense.
