Ukrainian govt approves EUR 100 mln loan from EIB for water supply and sewerage reconstruction – PM
Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers has approved a EUR 100 million loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB) under the Ukraine Facility instrument for the restoration of water supply and sewerage systems, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced.
"The government's third decision today focuses on restoring water supply and sewerage infrastructure. Our reconstruction needs in this sector exceed $11 billion. We have secured EUR 100 million in financing from the European Investment Bank under the Ukraine Facility instrument," Shmyhal said during a government meeting on Tuesday.
According to him, these funds will be allocated to the restoration of water supply and sewerage systems, ensuring they meet modern standards.
