Ukrainian home appliances retailer Comfy grows revenue by 19% in H1 2025
Electronics and home appliances retailer Comfy (LLC Comfy Trade) increased its revenue by 19% in January–June 2025, recording higher demand across nearly all product categories, the company's press service reported.
The retailer does not disclose absolute revenue figures for the first half of the year. According to YouControl, revenue rose by 14.5% year-on-year in Q1 2025 to UAH 8 billion.
According to the press release, Comfy's online sales grew by 27% in the first six months compared with the same period last year, while the overall market expanded by 15%.
About 27% of all online sales are generated via the company's mobile app, the report noted. In H1 2025, the number of app users rose by 28% year-on-year, while the share of monthly active users (MAU) jumped by 50%.
Demand grew across nearly all product categories in H1 2025. In small home appliances, average growth reached 32%, while accessories grew 34%. The fastest-rising products included multi-ovens (+248.1%), humidifiers (+59%), coffee machines (+40%), and steam cleaners (+37%). Growth trends also continued for stylers (+62%), epilators (+61%), and electric toothbrushes (+57%).
In large appliances, the strongest growth was seen in air conditioners (+84%), as well as dryers and dishwashers (+46% and +22% respectively), supported by a stable power supply situation.
In the digital and audio-video segment, the best performers were home audio systems (+184%), camera lenses (+172%), cameras (+53%), and tablets (+49%).
"At the same time, sales fell in niches that overheated last year – power banks and charging stations, as well as freezers and transportation products," the retailer noted.
Comfy paid UAH 992 million in taxes in January–June 2025, up 14% from the same period in 2024.
According to YouControl, LLC Comfy Trade is fully owned by Comfy Holdings Limited (Cyprus). The ultimate beneficiaries are Stanislav Ronis and Svitlana Hutsul.
