From the beginning of 2025, Energoatom continues to fulfill its public service obligation to ensure electricity availability for household consumers, with the aim of reducing costs for the population.

"Since the beginning of the year, Energoatom has already paid UAH 102.2 billion [including VAT] for the PSO service. In particular, 100% of the cost of the service for January-August 2025 and 40% of the forecast cost for September have been covered," the company reported on Monday.

According to Energoatom's financial plan, the forecast cost of the PSO service in 2025 is UAH 163.9 billion (including VAT).

The company recalled that in 2024, UAH 153 billion was paid for the PSO service.

As reported, in 2024, Energoatom allocated 58% of its net income to PSO payments. The company's net profit last year amounted to UAH 1.3 billion.
