Ukrnafta drills 15 new wells in 9M, plans 10 more by year end

From January to September of 2025, JSC Ukrnafta completed the drilling of 15 new wells, and another 10 are currently being drilled. In total, 25 new facilities are planned to be equipped by the end of the year, the company reported in a press release on Monday.

"We maintain production growth: +4.5% for oil and +1.7% for gas," acting chairman of the board of Ukrnafta Yuriy Tkachuk reported.

According to the company, in order to achieve significant results, Ukrnafta uses 3D geological modeling, API-standard equipment, digital solutions, and artificial intelligence technologies.

Over the past three years, Ukrnafta has conducted 1,330 square kilometers of 3D seismic surveys. These surveys create a basis for expanding the company's resource base and help drill new wells more efficiently.

Ukrnafta is Ukraine's largest oil producer and operates a national network of gas stations. In March 2024, Ukrnafta began managing Glusco's assets, and it now operates a total of 663 gas stations. The company holds 92 licenses for the industrial development of deposits. The company has 1,832 oil and 154 gas production wells on its balance sheet.
