Groysman tasks Fiscal Service, auditors, police and cadastre service to check logging companies for smuggling

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has asked Ukraine's State Fiscal Service, the State Auditors Service, the National Police and the State Service for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre to check logging companies for smuggling.

"I recommend approving a government resolution authorizing these agencies to begin careful checks of the commercial activities of all logging companies, including checks of their invoices, shipping orders, customs papers, to see through what checkpoints handled contraband lumber, as well as who, namely, authorized this activity," Groysman said at a government meeting on Wednesday, July 18.
