Philip Morris International recognized as one of the world's best employers for the eighth time

For the eighth consecutive year, Philip Morris International (PMI) has been recognized as one of the world's best employers by the Top Employers Institute.

The Top Employers Institute program certifies organizations based on the participation and results of their HR Best Practices Survey. This survey covers six HR domains consisting of 20 topics including People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Diversity & Inclusion, Wellbeing and more.

Top Employers Institute CEO David Plink says: “Exceptional times bring out the best in people and organizations. And we have witnessed this in our Top Employers Certification Program this year: an exceptional performance from the certified Top Employers 2024. And amongst this community of outstanding organizations, PMI has proven their commitment to their employees on a global scale.”

In 2023, more than 2,300 companies in 121 countries were certified. Philip Morris International is also one of the 17 international organizations awarded this year’s Global Top Employer certification. PMI employs more than 79,000 people worldwide.

PMI’s affiliates were also recognized as leading employers in 31 countries across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia/Pacific.
"This recognition has become possible thanks to our successful strategic decisions and innovative approaches focused on ensuring the needs and well-being of employees. Philip Morris consistently and systematically implements its social responsibility towards its people and is a leader in supporting employees around the world and particularly in Ukraine. Our success is based on a deep understanding by all team members of the company's transformation strategy and its commitment to a smoke-free future. We are proud of this award, as it is recognition of our continuous work to create a comfortable working environment and promote the well-being of our employees," said Emel Mordo, Director People and Culture at Philip Morris Ukraine.
