Zelenskyy: This summer, our partners and I must prepare action plan to restore Ukraine's energy security
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that this summer Ukraine and its partners should prepare an action plan based on the Peace Formula to restore energy security in the country.
"I am grateful to Poland for participating in the Peace Summit and supporting the work on the Peace Formula. Poland is a co-leader in the implementation of the energy security clause. Our Polish partners are fully informed about the situation in the energy system of Ukraine. Already this summer, we must give a prepared action plan within the framework of the Formula for the return of energy security to Ukraine, and, thanks to this, to all our neighbors in Europe," he said at a press conference with the Polish Prime Minister in Warsaw.
The Head of State also recalled that negotiations on Ukrainian membership in the Union started between Ukraine and the EU in June, in this regard, "this year our task is to waste no time preparing conditions for the continuation of negotiations and for Ukraine's accession to Europe."
He stressed that this is a strategically important task not only for Ukraine, but also for the whole of Europe.
In addition, Zelenskyy recalled that Poland actively supports Ukraine's accession to NATO.
"And we equally know that Ukraine in the Alliance will strengthen the entire architecture of Euro-Atlantic security. And this is inevitable. Only together with Ukraine in NATO can peace be ensured for the whole of Europe. A reliable, long-lasting peace. And this is exactly what we are moving towards every day," he concluded.
