Germany allocates EUR 10 mln for Okhmatdyt restoration

The German government has decided to allocate EUR 10 million for the restoration of the Okhmatdyt children's hospital, which was badly damaged during Russia's massive missile attack on Ukraine on July 8, Ambassador of Germany to Ukraine Martin Jaeger said.

"At the meeting with [Health Minister of Ukraine] Viktor Liashko, I assured Germany's support: The German government allocates EUR 10 million for the restoration of Okhmatdyt. In addition, EUR 4 million will be allocated for emergency assistance to the children's hospital and the healthcare system. We will soon discuss the details during the visit to Okhmatdyt," he said on X Social Network on Wednesday.
