Defense Ministry: Ukrainian Delta combat system meets NATO cybersecurity standards
The Ukrainian combat operations planning system Delta has successfully passed an independent information security audit by one of the international consulting companies, according to the website of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
"For the first time in the history of Ukraine, a military system has been certified according to the standards used in NATO countries. Previously, such systems were tested according to standards that were 20 years old, which have lost their relevance," Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov said.
Delta is a combat system that allows to plan operations and see the battlefield in real time, exchange information within a unit, brigade, group, and, if necessary, with allies.
Next, the system will be put into operation and should become widespread in combat units to ensure technological superiority over the enemy, the department said.
"During war, the safety of combat systems is a priority. The path taken by Delta will become an example for other state systems – both combat and non-combat," Head of the State Special Communications Service Yuriy Myronenko said.
