Zelenskyy: Ukraine needs joint security decision with partners to strike Russia's military airfields
Russian fighter jets, which dropped more than 600 guided air bombs on Ukraine this week alone, "must be destroyed where they are by all available effective means," President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said on Saturday.
"The Russian combat aircraft must be destroyed where it is by all available effective means. It is also quite fair to strike the Russian [military] airfields. And we need [to approve] this joint decision with our partners – a security decision," he said on the Telegram channel.
According to the head of state, this is the only realistic way to protect Ukrainian citizens.
"This week alone, Russia used more than 600 guided air bombs against Ukraine. We must stop this daily Russian terror by joint strong decisions," he said.
