Summer First Aid School for URCS instructors, trainers taking place in Kyiv
Instructors and trainers of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) are being trained at the First Aid Summer School in Kyiv.
“For the sixth year in a row, at about this time of the year, the Ukrainian Red Cross is organizing the largest event for teams of first aid instructors and trainers from all over the country — the first aid school,” URCS said on Facebook on Friday.
The school hosts trainings, seminars, and deals with topical issues of first aid training. Experienced instructors and trainers plan their activities for the coming year in order to cover as many people as possible with training programs, because in war conditions, everyone must have first aid skills.
This year, the school's classes also considered the issues of teaching people with physical disabilities how to adapt a training program for them. In addition, the students of the school discussed the expansion of educational programs on online platforms, which will allow people to study at a convenient time for them and where it is not safe to physically conduct training.
The Ukrainian Red Cross is a top leader in teaching people first aid skills and is working to make training programs available to everyone.
