Ten people killed, 35 injured as result of attack on Kostiantynivka – Interior Minister
The death toll as a result of the Russian strike on Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region, has increased to 10 people, 35 injured are known, and rescuers also extinguished a fire at a shopping center, Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko said.
"The attack on Kostiantynivka: 45 injured, a fire of a shopping center with an area of 1,000 square meters was eliminated. Operational services are working on site: the State Emergency Service, the police with the involvement of a paramedic unit. In total, 45 people were injured as a result of the Russian shelling: 10 were killed, 35 more were injured," Klymenko wrote on his Telegram channel.
The minister said that residential buildings, shops and more than a dozen cars were also damaged in the town.
As reported, the Russian occupiers fired at Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region, from barrel artillery on Friday, August 9. It was known about nine dead and 24 injured.
