Zelenskyy on Kostiantynivka attack: Russia always knows what its missiles hit, will be held accountable

The Russian occupiers' strike on a supermarket in Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region, is a deliberate and planned terrorist act, a war crime, for which the aggressor state will be held accountable, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said on Friday.

"Russia always knows what its missiles hit, and this is deliberate and targeted Russian terror. Another war crime, for which the occupier will be held accountable," he said in a video address following the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff Headquarters meeting.

According to the head of state, the rescue operation in Kostiantynivka continues. Dozens of other buildings in the city were damaged, including a post office, shops, houses.

"As of now, more than 40 victims are known – everyone is receiving the necessary assistance. Fourteen people, regrettably, died. My condolences to their families and friends," Zelenskyy said.
