Fire at Zaporizhia NPP extinguished, radiation level in Nikopol within normal limits – head of Dnipropetrovsk region
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration Serhiy Lysak reported as of 7:30 on Monday that the fire at the Zaporizhia NPP has ceased, the radiation level in Nikopol is within normal limits.
"The fire at the Zaporizhia NPP has ceased. The radiation level in Nikopol is normal. We are monitoring the situation," he wrote on the Telegram channel.
In addition, according to him, Russian troops attacked two districts of Dnipropetrovsk region with artillery.
"It continued to target Nikopol district until midnight. It also struck in the morning. It hit Nikopol, Krasnohryhorivka and Marhanets communities. Hrushevska community of Kryvy Rih was also under attack. There were no casualties or injuries anywhere," Lysak noted.
