More than 15,000 guests visited the Volia Space Ukrainian House at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris (France), Acting Minister of Youth and Sports Matviy Bidny said.

"It's time to evaluate the results of Volia Space, the first Ukrainian house in the history of the Olympic Games … In the context of athletes and their stories, we formed the goal of Volia Space – to show the world the Ukrainian will to win and to remind what Ukrainians are going through every day because of the Russian full-scale invasion. The world should know what Ukrainian athletes went through to be in Paris," Bidny wrote on Facebook.

According to him, during the 16 days of operation, Volia Space was visited by more than 15,000 guests, including French Minister of Sports Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, Minister Delegate for European Affairs of the French government Jean-Noël Barrot, Mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo, ministers and ambassadors from other countries of the world.

In addition, more than 600 accredited media professionals from all over the world covered the work of Volia Space, and as a result prepared more than 1,000 publications in Ukrainian and foreign media.

"Every day, materials about Volia Space were published in the most popular media such as CNN, Reuters, France Presse, etc., so that more people would learn the truth about Ukraine, the Ukrainian will to win and hear the stories of Ukrainian athletes. We have data on more than 105 million views, two thirds of which are from an international audience," the head of the ministry added.

Among other things, Bidny thanked the patrons and entrepreneurs who helped organize Volia Space without using budgetary funds.

As reported, the Summer Olympic Games were held from July 26 to August 11 in Paris. Ukraine with 12 awards took the 22nd position in the medal standings of the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
