Humanitarian corridor route being developed for residents of Kursk region in Sumy – Vereschuk

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for the Reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereschuk has said that a possible route of a humanitarian corridor to Sumy for residents of Kursk region is being developed.
"Now we are working with the military on a possible route of a humanitarian corridor for civilians from Kursk region to Sumy," she wrote on the Telegram channel on Thursday.
Vereschuk also explained that there is a possibility of sending a humanitarian corridor towards the Russian Federation, subject to a corresponding request from the Russian side, which has not yet been received.
"Regarding the humanitarian corridor towards the Russian Federation: there is such a possibility, but subject to an appropriate official request from the Russian side. So far, no such request has been received," Vereschuk noted.
