Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky informed country's president Volodymyr Zelenskyy about the fighting in Donetsk region, as well as new details of the Ukrainian military operation in Kursk region of the Russian Federation.

"Today's report by Commander-in-Chief Syrsky. First of all, the frontline situation and our measures to control it. Heavy fighting continues in Pokrovsk direction, the defense of Toretsk. I am grateful for every result in the destruction of the occupier," the president wrote on Telegram.

As Zelenskyy noted, "we are working to provide weapons and the necessary strong decisions of our partners in our actions at the front."

According to the president, the commander-in-chief also reported on new details of the operation in Kursk region. "We are achieving our goals. This morning there is another replenishment of the exchange fund for our state," Zelenskyy wrote.

He also discussed with the Commander-in-Chief "some aspects of our missile program." "I am grateful to everyone who works for Ukraine in this very area - in the development and production of missiles," the president said.

In turn, Syrsky reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are doing everything possible to protect the city of Toretsk in Donetsk region and that they have achieved results in Kursk region.

"Heavy fighting continues in Pokrovsk direction. The Defense Forces are also doing everything necessary to protect Toretsk. We are achieving new results in Kursk region, there is a replenishment of the exchange fund," he wrote on Telegram.
