Air object enters territory of Poland during Russia’s morning attack on Ukraine

The Polish Armed Forces announced a violation of the country's airspace during a massive Russian attack on Ukraine on Monday morning.

"The operational commander of the Armed Forces, General Maciej Klisz, reported that an air object had entered the territory of Poland from Ukraine. The search for it continues. The army assured that it was not a missile, but ‘probably an unmanned aerial vehicle,’" RMF24 said.

It is reported that such a statement was made at a briefing of the Polish Armed Forces at 13:00 Polish time. Then the military informed about the details: "At 06:43, an air object flew into Poland from Ukraine. It crossed the Polish border near the Ukrainian town of Chervonohrad. This place has already been attacked several times by the Russian side because of the power plant located there."

According to the military, the object was visible on the radars of at least three radar stations. General Klisz suggested that the drone could have fallen in the area of the town of Tyszowce – on the Polish side of Chervonohrad and Sokol. The town is located about 30 kilometers from the border of Poland with Ukraine.

Earlier it was reported that Poland raised military aircraft during a massive missile attack by the Russian Federation on the morning of August 26.
