Poroshenko from Pokrovsk calls on authorities to transfer all funds from war tax, personal income tax to army
Petro Poroshenko brought a batch of FPV drones and equipment for the military to Pokrovsk and called on the authorities to direct all money from personal income tax and war tax exclusively to providing for the defense forces.
According to the website of the European Solidarity party, Poroshenko noted that the situation near Pokrovsk is extremely tense, now all resources and efforts must be concentrated to save the city.
"The number one request is attack drones: hundreds, sometimes thousands, of them are needed. Today we are transferring 200 pieces to the fighters of the 59th Yakiv Hondziuk separate motorized infantry brigade, as well as three Mavic drones and two charging stations. We are transferring another 205 units to the paratroopers from the 46th brigade along with two Bluetti stations. Together, these brigades courageously liberated the southern regions in 2022, and are now defending the Donetsk steppes," Poroshenko stated.
Another 200 FPV drones, three Mavic drones, six tires for KAMAZ trucks and a dome electronic warfare system were brought to the 16th separate motorized infantry battalion of the 58th brigade and the special forces of the presidential brigade: they defended Bakhmut and Avdiyivka. A mobile auto repair shop was brought to the 150th reconnaissance battalion. Another container workshop was supplied to the 7th Army Rapid Response Corps, which includes airborne assault and airmobile brigades. The military also received more than 200 FPV drones, six Mavics, power and communication equipment, and five ATVs for evacuating the wounded.
"Of course, Kursk is very important, of course, other areas are very important. But I can say that the fate of these months is being decided today in Pokrovsk. And everything depends on whether our military will be provided or not," Poroshenko said.
"I would like to have next to me representatives of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection, who took funds from local budgets several months ago, and reported and delivered only 40%," Poroshenko noted.
"We are raising the issue of immediately returning the funds. The entire amount of war tax and taxes on personal income should be credited to the accounts of the military units, which will quickly buy Mavics, FPV drones, heavy drones, reconnaissance equipment, electronic warfare equipment," Poroshenko stressed.
The party leader was outraged by the lack of necessary fortifications in the Pokrovsk direction due to the confiscation of personal income tax from local communities, so the construction of fortifications was done with violations and was ineffective.
