Minor traces of chemical content found in air due to Russian strike in Sumy

Sumy has completed an air quality study after the Russian missile attack on the enterprise on Friday, August 30, Sumy Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine reports.

"In the maximum single air samples taken in residential areas of the regional center, during the elimination of the consequences of a missile strike on civilian infrastructure, minor exceedances of the following chemical compounds were found: nitrogen dioxide – 0.35 m/dm cubic meters with a standard of no more than 0.2 mg/dm cubic meter; sulfuric anhydride – 0.59 mg/dm cubic meter with a standard of no more than 0.5 mg/dm cube; soot -0.22mg/dm.cube at a rate of no more than 0.15 mg/dm. cube - Klenovy Lane (Veretionovka district); soot – 0.17 mg/dm cube at a rate of no more than 0.15 mg/dm cube - Morning Lane (Veretionovka district)," the message posted on the Telegram channel says.

All other indicators are within the normal range.

"Such minor deviations with a short duration of action are safe for health," the Center noted.
