Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has tasked the Ministry for Communities, Territories Development with attracting partner funds for recovery and implementing regional policy.

"I introduced the ministry's team to the new Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction, Minister of Communities and Territories Development Oleksiy Kuleba. I outlined key priorities for the ministry, including attracting partner funds for recovery, focusing more on housing recovery, and regional policy. Oleksiy has extensive experience in working with regions, and we expect this to have a positive impact on the ministry's work," Shmyhal wrote on his Telegram channel.

As reported, on September 5, the Verkhovna Rada appointed Kuleba as Deputy Prime Minister for Ukraine's Reconstruction, Minister for Communities and Territories Development. Before joining the Cabinet, he served as Deputy Head of the Presidential Office from January 24, 2023.
