Biden's adviser Sullivan promises support to Ukraine until last days of President's term
The powers of President Joseph Biden expire in a little over four months, and all these days Ukraine, which is now in a difficult situation, can count on support to win the war with Russia, said Jacob Sullivan, National Security Adviser to the U.S. President.
Sullivan said at the 20th annual YES meeting in Kyiv on September 13-14, organized by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, that they have four months and several days with President Biden as president, and they are going to treat each of these days with appreciation when it comes to supporting Ukraine, because as he believes that they vare at a vital moment, at a crossroads, and that they must do everything possible for Ukraine to win this war and become a proud, free, independent country based on the West.
The Adviser stressed that everything possible would be done to make this happen, and the work would be carried out in close cooperation with both Ukraine and partners. As confirmation of his words, he cited the visit of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to Washington the other day and the upcoming visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in a little over a week.
Sullivan stressed that these days, the President wakes up every day and thinks what he can do to help the people of Ukraine. And he told his entire team to help him in this and to help our friend and partner Ukraine in this, Sullivan stressed.
