Tochytsky, Italian Culture Minister discuss protection of Ukrainian cultural identity

Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications Mykola Tochytsky and Minister of Culture of Italy Alessandro Giuli discussed the concept of joint actions, new initiatives and combining efforts in the direction of protecting Ukrainian cultural identity.

"Tochytsky expressed gratitude for Giuli's significant personal contribution to the restoration and preservation of the cultural heritage of Ukraine during his leadership of the MAXHI Foundation [2022-2024], in particular, for the implementation of the project Laboratory of Ukraine's Reconstruction. Tochytsky also expressed hope for the continuation of fruitful cooperation in the implementation of this and other important projects in Giuli's new role as the Minister of Culture of Italy," the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine said in a statement.

In addition, the heads of departments discussed issues of protecting and promoting cultural identity, which will soon be considered at the meeting of G7 culture ministers, which will take place in Naples.
