AFU General Staff: Russian aviation carries out 12 attacks by smart bombs on its own territory since day start
Russian occupation forces continue to shell settlements in Kharkiv, Chernihiv and Sumy regions, as well as Kursk region of the Russian Federation, which has been hit by Russian aircraft since the beginning of the day, dropping 16 guided aerial bombs, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
"Terrorists continue to destroy Ukrainian towns and villages with rocket, air and artillery strikes. Today, the communities of the settlements of Mykolayivka, Velyka Pysarivka, Boyaro-Lezhachi, Tymofiyivka, Malushyne, Uhroyidy, Pavlivka, Tymonovychi and Chaikyne suffered from enemy artillery and mortar fire in Kharkiv, Chernihiv and Sumy regions, in particular," the General Staff published the report as of 16:00 of Wednesday on Facebook.
In addition, as the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informs, the Russians carried out airstrikes with smart bombs in the districts of Grafske, Bondarivschyna, Malushyne, Sosnovka, Iskrovschyna, Obody, Kostiantynivka.
In Kramatorsk direction, the Russian aviation struck with smart bombs and unguided air-to-surface missile at Chasiv Yar and Druzhkivka, on Toretsk - Scherbynivka and Ivanopillia were hit twice with smart bombs. In Huliai-Pole direction, the Russian aviation struck with unguided aviation missiles at Pyatykhatky and Zherebianky.
"The operation in Kursk region continues. Enemy aircraft continue to level their villages and towns. Since the beginning of the day, Russian planes have carried out 12 strikes by sixteen smart bombs on their own territory," the summary says.
