Sybiha addresses Slovak side with proposal to sign bilateral security agreement
In Bratislava, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha addressed the Slovak side with a proposal to join the G7 Vilnius Declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine.
"I also addressed the Slovak side with a proposal to join the G7 Vilnius Declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine and sign a bilateral agreement in the field of security. We have already concluded 26 such agreements with partner countries," Sybiha said at a joint press conference with his Slovak counterpart Juraj Blanar in Bratislava.
Sybiha emphasized that Ukraine’s membership in NATO is "in the interests of our two countries and all of Europe, because it will lead to sustainable peace and strong security."
"We are counting on Bratislava’s support," he said.
