Canada plans to give Ukraine $47 mln in military aid, including small arms, ammo
The Canadian authorities plan to provide Ukraine with a military aid package worth $47 million, Western media said on Friday, citing Canada's Defense Minister Bill Blair.
The new package will include firearms, ammunition, and protective gear. This money will also be used to finance Ukrainian troops' training.
This aid for Ukraine will be allocated as part of the $362.8 million funding committed by Canadian Prime Minister Justine Trudeau in July, the media said.
In total, Canada has provided $4.5 billion in defense aid to Ukraine since February 2022.
