Cooperation between Interior Ministries of Ukraine, Poland entering new phase - Klymenko
Ministers of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and Poland - Ihor Klymenko and Tomasz Siemoniak - held a meeting in Krakow (Poland).
"We discussed assistance and support, as well as the experience that Ukraine can share - today during a long meeting with Minister Siemoniak," Klymenko wrote on the Telegram channel on Monday.
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine noted the presence of many common challenges. According to him, these are, in particular, issues of civil protection of the population, border security, counteracting disinformation, combating organized crime, and the latest tools for planning and committing crimes.
"It is important that there is understanding at all points of contact. And our cooperation is entering a new phase of activity," Klymenko is convinced.
He thanked his Polish colleague for supporting initiatives to exchange experience, training, and create joint working groups in several areas of activity.
Klymenko also noted that his Polish colleague accepted the offer to hold the next meeting in Ukraine.
