Mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko met with the Minister of Civil Defense of Sweden and the Ambassador of Sweden to Ukraine, the parties discussed issues of further support for Ukraine.

"I met with Minister of Civil Defense of Sweden Carl-Oskar Bohlin and Ambassador of Sweden to Ukraine Martin Åberg. We discussed the situation in Ukraine and Kyiv. I emphasized the need to increase assistance to our state in the fight against the Russian aggressor. Carl-Oskar Bohlin emphasized that Sweden will continue to support our state as long as necessary," Klitschko wrote on Telegram.

The mayor of Kyiv noted that the winter will be difficult, and emphasized that the priority for the capital's authorities is the life support of the city, the effective work of all city services in the winter.

Klitschko also thanked Sweden for the assistance provided.

"I thanked Sweden for its support and humanitarian aid, for providing shelter for Ukrainians who left to escape the war. I thanked Kyiv's sister city, Stockholm, for the health improvement of Ukrainian children in the capital of Sweden," Klitschko noted.
