Russian troops most active on Pokrovsk, Kurakhove axes – General Staff
The Russian occupation forces are particularly active on the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove axes, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has said in a frontline update as of 4 p.m., reporting 114 combat clashes along the entire front line.
"The enemy uses all forces and means to achieve its goals. The defense forces act professionally and effectively, inflict heavy losses on the enemy," it said on the Telegram channel on Friday.
Most of the combat clashed were recorded on the Kurakhove axis – 32, 18 of which have already been repelled. Fierce fighting continues.
On the Pokrovsk axis, the occupiers made 24 attempts to dislodge the Ukrainian defenders from their positions since the beginning of the day. The defense forces repelled 19 enemy attacks, and five combat clashes continue.
On the Kharkiv axis, the occupiers conducted two assault operations, nine on the Kupyansk axis, and nine on the Lyman axis. There is one ongoing battle in the area.
On the Siversk axis, the defense forces repulsed one enemy attack, and one more battle continues. On the Kramatorsk axis, fighting continues in the Bondarne area.
On the Toretsk axis, four combat clashes were recorded. On the Vremiv axis, six combat clashes occurred, two of which is still ongoing). One attack was recorded on each the Orikhiv and Prydniprovsky axis.
