During the day on November 8, 171 combat clashes were recorded along the front line, most attacks took place on the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove axes, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has said on Saturday morning.

On the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped 36 assaults of the aggressor towards the settlements of Myroliubivka, Novotoretske, Promin, Lysivka, Kruty Yar, Selydove, Vyshneve, and Chumatske.

On the Kurakhove axis, the Defense Forces repelled 40 Russian attacks. The occupiers tried to advance most actively in the areas of Illinka, Berestky, Novoselydivka, Novodmytrivka, Voznesenka, Maksymivka, Antonivka, Dalne, and Katerynivka.

On the Kharkiv axis, using bomber aircraft, the enemy stormed five times the positions of the AFU in the area of Vovchansk.

On the Kupyansk axis, 14 attacks of the invaders took place during the day. The Defense Forces repelled enemy assaults near Kondrashivka, Kolesnykivka, Zahryzove, Lozova, Pischane, and Berestove.

On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked twelve times, trying to cut into the AFU defense near Hrekivka, Zarichne, Terny, Torske, and Hryhorivka.

On the Siversk axis, the Ukrainian defenders repelled five assaults of the Russian invaders near Bilohorivka and Verkhniokamyanske.

On the Kramatorsk axis, the occupiers attacked once near Bondarne.

On the Toretsk axis, the enemy, actively using aviation, made ten attacks near the settlements of Dyliyivka, Druzhba, Toretsk, Scherbynivka, and Petrivka.

On the Vremiv axis, the enemy launched seven assaults on AFU positions in the areas of Trudove, Kostiantynopilske, and Sukhi Yaly.

On the Orikhiv axis, the occupation troops stormed five times the positions of the Defense Forces in the areas of Novoandriyivka and Novodanylivka.

With the support of bomber and attack aircraft, the enemy attacked the positions of the Ukrainian defenders three times without success on the Prydniprovsky axis.

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected on the Volyn and Polissia directions.
