Zelenskyy imposes sanctions against 15 individuals, more than 100 legal entities from Russia, Belarus – decree
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has put into effect the decisions of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), which supported the proposals made by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) on the application of sanctions against 15 individuals and 102 legal entities from the Russian Federation, the website of the head of state reports.
Relevant decrees No. 761/2024 and No. 762/2024 are published on the President's website.
In particular, decree No. 761/2024 imposed sanctions against 15 individuals from the Russian Federation, 29 legal entities from the Russian Federation, two from Belarus, and seven from the occupied territories.
Decree No. 762/2024 imposed sanctions against 63 legal entities from the Russian Federation.
In an evening video message on Tuesday, Zelenskyy said that sanctions had been imposed "against Russian enterprises and individuals working for the interests of the aggressor state and providing it with the opportunity to avoid responsibility for the war."
"Ukraine will definitely coordinate such sanctions with those of its partners, in particular with regard to the Russian aviation infrastructure," the head of state added.
