EU Council to once again discuss Russian war against Ukraine, Sybiha to inform ministers
The foreign ministers of the European Union member states will discuss the war that Russia is waging against Ukraine, as well as relations with the United States after the recent presidential and upcoming parliamentary elections.
The relevant agenda for the EU Council meeting on foreign affairs, which will take place on Monday, November 18 in Brussels, has been published on the Council's website.
In particular, it is expected that immediately before discussing Russian aggression against Ukraine, an informal exchange of views with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha will take place via videoconference.
The Council will also exchange views on the situation in Georgia in light of the parliamentary elections that took place on October 26.
In addition, EU ministers will discuss transatlantic relations in light of the results of the recent presidential and upcoming parliamentary elections in the United States, scheduled for November 5.
Another item on the agenda is the discussion of recent events in the Middle East.
