Defense forces attack Atlas oil depot in Rostov region, destroy Buk-M3 air defense system

The Ukrainian defense forces hit an oil depot, where at least two fires are recorded, and destroyed the radar station of the Buk-M3 air defense system of the Russian occupiers in Zaporizhia region, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

"On the night of November 29, an attack was carried out on the Atlas oil depot in Rostov region of the Russian Federation. As a result of the defeat, a fire broke out on the territory of the facility, at least two fires are recorded. It should be noted that in the summer of this year, the specified oil depot was already attacked by the Defense Forces," the General Staff said in a Telegram message on Friday.

It is noted that Atlas is part of the Russian military-industrial complex, which provides supplies of petroleum products to the Russian army.

"In addition, as part of the tasks of identifying and eliminating enemy air defense assets, the radar station of the Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile kit of the Russian invaders was destroyed. The target was in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhia region," the General Staff informs.

The task was carried out by units of the Forces of unmanned systems, Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Main Intelligence Agency (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces.
