A total of 119 combat clashes have been recorded along the entire front line since the beginning of the day and as of 4 p.m., including 32 enemy assaults on the Pokrovsk axis and 30 – on the Kurakhove axis, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has said on Friday.

"The situation at the front remains tense. Currently, the number of combat clashes is 119. The enemy is most active on the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove axes," it said on Facebook.

On the Pokrovsk axis, the aggressor made 32 attacks in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zhovte and Chumatske. Ukrainian defense forces are holding back the onslaught and have repulsed 21 enemy attacks, while eleven 11 combat clashes are ongoing.

"The situation is also tense on the Kurakhove axis, where since the beginning of the day the enemy attacked our units 30 times. It tried to advance near Stari Terny, Zoria, Sontsivka, Kurakhove, Dachne and Dalne. Currently fighting continues in eleven locations," the General Staff said.

On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked the areas of Cherneschyna, Hrekivka, Kopanky, Nadia, Makiyivka, Torske and Terny. In total, eleven combat clashes were recorded in the area since the beginning of the day, two are still ongoing.

On the Vremiv axis, Ukrainian troops repulsed seven attacks in the areas of Uspenivka, Kostiantynopilske, Rozdolne, Novodarivka and Novoselka, five combat clashes are still ongoing.

On the Kupyansk axis, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions five times in the areas of Kolesnykivka, Lozova, Zahryzove and Zakhidne, four combat clashes are still ongoing.

On the Kramatorsk axis, the invaders made five assaults near Bila Hora and Stupochky, fighting continues in two locations.

"On the Kharkiv axis, Russian terrorists stormed the positions of our units in the areas of Vovchansk, Tykhe and in the direction of Vysoka Yaruha and Kozacha Lopan, two battles are ongoing," the General Staff said.

On the Toretsk axis, the number of enemy attacks increased to four, the enemy attacked the areas of Toretsk, Dyliyivka and Scherbynivka, where Ukrainians defenders repulsed two attacks, and two more combat clashes continue.

Single hostilities were recorded on the Orikhiv axis, near Novodanylivka. On the Prydniprovsk acis, the enemy had no success.

"In Kursk region, since the beginning of the day, the invaders launched 13 attacks, fighting continues," the General Staff said.

There were no significant changes in other directions of the front.
