GUR heads, National Academy of Sciences agree on cooperation in development of satellite, unmanned systems
Head of the Main Intelligence Agency (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, has held a meeting with President and First Vice President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Anatoliy Zahorodniy and Volodymyr Horbulin.
"We discussed topical issues in the field of national security, in particular the creation and production of the latest weapons systems. We exchanged views on possible solutions aimed at strengthening the state's defense capability," the press service of the GUR reported on the Telegram channel.
The parties agreed to deepen cooperation in order to develop satellite and unmanned systems and technologies.
"Today we must not just respond to challenges, but stay ahead of them. This requires innovation, clear planning, the experience and potential of the country's best strategists and scientists. No matter how difficult it is, we must support and develop our science, because it is of fundamental importance for the protection and development of Ukraine," Budanov stressed.
