President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk have discussed the situation on the battlefield and the coordination of work with other partners.

"We have discussed in detail the situation on the battlefield. We have a common vision that Ukraine needs a real peace, that Ukraine needs to be strong and its needs strengthening," Zelenskyy told a press conference following a meeting with Tusk in Lviv on Tuesday.

The head of state said the conversation with Tusk was productive, in particular, the parties discussed coordination of work with other partners, and discussed common understanding and common achievements in this.

"Donald informed me about his negotiations, which are in Poland, I told about what we are negotiating, diplomatic meetings with our partners," he said.

Zelenskyy also praised the fact that the Ukrainian and Polish culture ministries are working on common historical issues.

"There are meetings, there is a common work, it has begun and there is progress in it," he said.

The President recalled that after the inauguration of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, efforts to stop the war will be intensified, emphasizing that this must be done fairly and Ukraine should be strengthened.
