Budanov: Russia's mass use of fiber-optic drones is huge problem for us
Russia's mass use of fiber-optic drones is a huge problem for Ukraine today, said Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
"We are still winning the drone war. But the Russians have massively started using drones with cables, what is called fiber optics. This is a huge problem for us, because it is impossible to stop them with electronic warfare, meaning the use of FPV drones. This is the know-how and trend of this year," Budanov said on the air of the telethon on Tuesday.
According to him, next year "we will all together look for a technological solution to combat the huge number of such devices."
