Summonses to Ukrainians in Poland allegedly from migration service are fake
Ukrainians in Poland have started receiving fake "summonses" with demands allegedly from the Polish Migration Office, the Center for Countering Disinformation said.
"Ukrainians in Poland have begun receiving fake summonses, allegedly requiring citizens to undergo military service. Their authors threaten persecution and deportation to Ukraine if the recipients do not comply with the 'demands," the center said on the Telegram channel on Friday.
It is noted that the Polish Migration Office, on whose behalf the "summonses" are sent, stated that it was not involved in these letters.
"The purpose of such fakes is to misinform Ukrainians. Trust only official sources and verify the information," the center said in the statement.
The Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Poland also stated that no summonses is sent to Ukrainian citizens or conscripts, reservists or reservists are notified on Polish territory.
