Tochytsky, US Ambassador discuss strengthening of sanctions against Russia for crimes against cultural heritage
Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine Mykola Tochytsky discussed with U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink the strengthening of sanctions against Russia for crimes against cultural heritage and the decolonization of Ukrainian studios abroad.
"The parties discussed the prospects for developing cooperation in the field of strategic communications and joint efforts to counter Russian disinformation," the ministry said.
It is noted that the parties also touched upon the development of civic education technologies in Ukraine and the decolonization of Ukrainian studios abroad.
In addition, special attention was paid to the need to increase sanction pressure on the Russian Federation for crimes against Ukraine's cultural heritage.
