Zelenskyy: deployment of partner contingents in Ukraine is one of best tools for forcing Russia to come to peace
Vladimir Putin wants to completely destroy Ukraine, it is necessary to find as many tools as possible to force the Russian Federation to peace, and the deployment of partner contingents in Ukraine is one of the best tools, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes.
"Last year, France came up with the idea of deploying partner contingents in Ukraine, and you know this, in order to bring peace closer. And we all understand that Putin's goals remain unchanged today. And he wants to completely destroy Ukraine and break all of us and you too. That's why our goal is to find as many tools as possible to force Russia to peace," Zelenskyy said, speaking at the 25th meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine at the Ramstein base.
The President believes that such deployment of partner contingents is one of the best tools.
He urged the partners to be more "practical to make this possible."
"And we have also heard signals from some of our partners, from the UK, in support of this. And we have to be bold, and we have to offer really strong tools," Zelenskyy stressed.
