Ukrainian Red Cross warns of fake regarding cash payments from organization
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) warns about a fake about cash payments from the organization, which is spreading on social networks.
"Fraudsters are spreading false information about alleged payments of UAH 2,500 from the Ukrainian Red Cross for vulnerable categories of the population," the URCS informed on Facebook.
The URCS reported that fraudsters use a video instruction created with the help of artificial intelligence to mislead people.
"This video contains fake information, and the images have nothing to do with our organization. Fraudsters call for filing applications to local branches of the Ukrainian Red Cross or contacting the hotline. This is an attempt to mislead you," the URCS emphasized.
