Yermak calls start of meeting with U.S. delegation very constructive

The meeting with the American delegation began very constructively, said head of the President's Office of Ukraine Andriy Yermak.

"The meeting with the U.S. team began very constructively, we are working on bringing a just and lasting peace," he wrote in the Telegram channel on Tuesday.

Earlier, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reported on the start of a meeting of the Ukrainian and American delegations in Saudi Arabia.

From the Ukrainian side, the meeting is being attended by Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak, Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiha, Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov, Deputy Head of the President's Office Pavlo Palisa.

As reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the American side is being attended by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and U.S. President's National Security Advisor Mike Waltz.

The US President's Special Envoy for the Middle East, Stephen Witkoff, who participated in the negotiations with the Russian Federation in Riyadh on February 18, as well as Trump's Special Envoy for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, are not present at the talks.
